From 17th Nov. to 18th Nov., 100 students from more than 20 different countries experienced activities named “Experience China, Explore Silk Culture” in our university.

This activity is organized by China Scholarship Council, hosted by our university, co-held by Zhejiang University, Zhejiang Gongshang University and Silk and Fashion Culture Research Center of Zhejiang Province. This activity is listed by CSC 2018 “Experience China” brand activity.

The opening ceremony is held in the morning of Dec 17th at the ZSTU International Exhibition Center. This activity’s main theme is silk culture technology, which leads CSC students to experience the history and modern charms of Chinese silk over visiting museums, attending lecture and practicing. They listened to the lectures given by the Professor Ren and Professor Ma, visited ZSTU Silk Museum, China Silk Museum, WENSLI Group and E-Fashion Town and also experienced co-weaving and tie-dying.

CSC International Students spoke highly of this activities and send their sincere thanks to the organizations, in which they learned more about silk culture. They wish they could spread these cultures of silk and also the reform and opening-up back to their own home countries, let everyone know more about silk, know more about China.
