On the evening of April 19th, the"Experience China, Dream in Zhejiang" Chinese Talent Show by International Studentsand theAwardCeremony for "Pictureseque Zhejiang, Gorgeous China" Recitation Competitionwere held atZhejiang Sci-Tech University.

This series of activities are jointly organized byChinaScholarshipCouncil,Department of Education of Zhejiang Province,Information Office of the People's Governmentof Zhejiang Province, Foreign Affairs Office ofthe People's Government of Zhejiang Provinceand Zhejiang Media Group. Qing Li, DeputySecretary General of the China ScholarshipCouncil,Peidong Shu, Deputy Director of theProvincial Department of Education, Lili Luo,Spokesperson of the ProvincialGovernmentInformation Office, Yonggang Qiu,DeputyEditorChiefof ZhejiangMediaGroup,Yanguang Li,Director of the StudyAbroad Management Department of the ChinaScholarship Council,WenZhang, Director of the Economic and News Department of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, Jia Kewen, Director of the Exit Entry Administration Bureau of the Provincial Public Security Department, Liu Jiazhen, Director of the Foreign Experts Work Department of the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, Vice President Yao Juming of ZhejiangSci-TechUniversity, as well as Chen Shanyi, Minister Counselor of the Thai Embassy in China, Li Jian, Counselor of the Indonesian Embassy in China, and his wife attended the event.

This evening, nearly 400 international studentsfrom 16universities includingZhejiangUniversity,Zhejiang Sci-Tech University,Northwest Normal University,and NanjingNorthwestUniversityof the Arts performed.Fourinternational students in China, including JingShu,an American student from Zhejiang Sci-Tech University,were invited as quest hosts toco host the program with the hostsfromZhejiang Media Group.

The "Zhejiang International Students 'Dream in Zhejiang' Series of Activities" are organized by Zhejiang Province for foreign students. It consists of themed competitions, talent shows, and visits the base in China. The aim is to help foreign students better understand the changes and developments of Chinese society, deeply experience the Chinese nation, and enhance mutual exchange and communication.

The series of activities have been held 17 years and become a "Gold Brand" of cultural activities and international communication among international students in Zhejiang Province, attracting tens of thousands of international students from more than 170 countries and regions to participate widely. It has played a positive role in helping international students gain a deeper understanding of the real China and promoting connections in various countries. Through series activitie, more and more international students who know China well become the "civil ambassadors" to introduce and tell the Chinese Story.
